"Bailey was fantastic in assisting me during my breastfeeding journey with my son. She is kind, attentive, and remarkably knowledgeable in her field, My son experienced reflux and colic, and the first few weeks of breastfeeding were difficult for us. Bailey came to my home and assisted me with proper latch and performed a weighted feed. She also answered my unending questions regarding breastfeeding and pumping while away from my son. Thanks in large part to Bailey’s assistance, I successfully exclusively breastfed my son and our journey continued until he was 18 months old, despite me going back to work full-time at 3 months and my son attending daycare from that point forward. I highly recommend Bailey for all of your IBCLC needs!"

"I consulted with Bailey when I had my first daughter and I was breastfeeding for the very first time. My daughter was strictly breastfed (no bottles or formula) and it was a very vulnerable task as a first time mom. Any questions, concerns or fears I had Bailey was there to offer help, reassurance and guidance. She had such a calm about her that made me feel confident and capable in my breastfeeding journey. Not to mention she is also extremely knowledgeable and always provided me with information that was easy for me to understand. With her help I was able to make it to over 2 years exclusively breastfeeding my daughter. So thankful for her! She’s a true gem.

Bailey has been so supportive of my first and current breastfeeding journeys. Every time my milk comes in I panic because it is intense. Bailey provides clear and helpful advice to help me navigate those early days, weeks, and months of breastfeeding. I have depended on Bailey numerous times to help me through painful latching, engorgement, and plugged ducts. With Baileys help, I have successfully breastfed my firstborn for a full year, and I'm well on my way to another year-plus with my second. Her guidance was truly critical in me enjoying my breastfeeding journeys rather than just enduring them. I highly recommend Bailey to any parent needing compassionate and expert breastfeeding support!

"As a first time mom, I had so many questions and emotions around breastfeeding. I wanted more than anything to feel that connection with my baby and have it be a positive experience for him also. Bailey was there for me with informative answers, examples, and encouragement. Her guidance helped immensely and led to so many Mama wins. I wholeheartedly recommend South Texas Latch to anyone looking to strengthen their experience and knowledge of breastfeeding."

Bailey Krenek, IBCLC, BS
My name is Bailey and I'm the founder of South Texas Latch! A little about me: I started working at WIC as a Nutritionist after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2017 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences. I was trained by a fellow WIC Nutritionist and IBCLC, who inspired me to pursue the lactation consulting career. I passed my boards to become an IBCLC in 2020. This was shortly after having my first born, and I truly found my calling and passion as a mama IBCLC. I have since had two more children, one in June 2022 and another December 2023. Despite being an IBCLC myself, I have endured lactation struggles with my own children, ranging from tongue ties to breastfeeding babies with food allergies to bottle/breast refusal. God has allowed these personal experiences to help me to better serve the families I help in my profession. I became an IBCLC in the COVID era, so I have been offering a wide range of services virtually from the start. Whether you’re in the South Texas area, or further away, allow me to assist you in getting your supply where you’d like it to be, getting your baby latched, or help returning to work! Whatever your needs may be, I'd love to help you along the journey towards breastfeeding success!
